Members of the New Life Outreach Group (NLO) are Christians at all levels of
the spiritual journey, with a common handicap of an addiction.
Realizing that faith in Jesus Christ is the one true way to peace, we the
addicted Christians are banded together in a mutual effort to transfer our
dependence to our addiction to dependence upon Jesus Christ. We believe
we can not do this alone, but can accomplish much by helping one another.
What binds us together is the central idea of fellowship, that in sharing our
strength with one another we become strong. Christ came not to rule, but to
serve and taught that we too should be servants of one another.
Our common goal is to allow Jesus our Savior to become the guiding
influence in our lives and lead us in recovery.
We offer fellowship to the addicted and their families. This is done in our
weekly meeting where we share problems and victories with one another. It
is further accomplished through phone calls and personal contact
throughout the week. We trust that Jesus will help each one to overcome!
